Zong to roll out additional 2,000 4G cell sites by 2019

After reaching the prolific milestone of being the first telecom company to have 10,000 operational 4G sites across the country, Zong 4G, Pakistan’s number one data network, is aggressively eyeing to rollout additional 2,000 4G cell sites by the end of 2019.

With this extensive and fastest rollout plan, Zong 4G will maintain the position of the first and sole operator which is investing heavily to provide state-of-the-art 4G services to its customers across Pakistan.

According to company’s statement, this step will be a major leap towards achieving 15,000 fully operational 4G cell sites by end 2020. Numbered in several millions, Zong 4G’s customers are based across the country, spread from Karachi to Khyber. Recently, the telecom company’s subscriber base in the 4G market has grown to more than 8 million, implying that maximum customers in maximum strength will be benefitting from Zong 4G’s unrivaled 4G technology coupled with widest and massive network outreach.

“For Zong 4G, customers are the first and foremost priority. Our resolve is to keep doing the best to serve our valued subscribers. We are rolling out a fastest network expansion plan to increase our 4G sites so our customers can feel empowered with seamless connectivity across Pakistan,” the company spokesperson said.

Zong 4G’s network modernization and expansion is a testimony of company’s commitment to provide Pakistan’s number one data to millions throughout the country.
