In a remarkable achievement and a proud moment for Pakistan’s private sector, Zameen.com was declared one of 8 global portals “to watch and learn from” at the Property Portal Watch Conference held in Amsterdam between October 7th – 9th.
Property Portal Watch (PPW) is the global authority on property portals and their conference is the international industry’s event of the year, with market leaders from around the world in attendance. Zameen.com’s presentation, delivered by Co-CEO Imran Ali Khan, was praised by all present for its remarkable depth and scope.
At the end of the conference, PPW named its ‘8 Property Portals to Watch and Learn From’, which included Zameen.com alongside top international names such as the UK’s Rightmove, Australia’s Realestate, Trulia from the US, Brazil’s VivaReal and Mitula.
Zameen.com was featured in the list ahead of portals such as Immobiliare and Zoopla, and was particularly praised for its excellent data-driven approach to management, which featured extremely advanced tools developed by the portal from scratch.
Speaking of this achievement, Imran Ali Khan said:
“We’re extremely proud of this incredible achievement, primarily because it has been one of our goals since day one to be one of the best in the global online real estate landscape. The way our innovative approach to internal systems and management has been received on this international platform has been nothing short of exhilarating, and we look forward to building on this great success.”
Zameen.com is Pakistan’s largest and most successful online real estate market, with well over 2.1 million monthly visits and more than 1.6 million property listings. The portal also recently launched a full-scale TV campaign and announced a major $9 million investment from three top international funds.
