You Can Now Use Your Voice To Compose An Email Using Microsoft Outlook And More

Microsoft is introducing voice capabilities to its Outlook mobile application which will allow users to compose an email, schedule meetings through voice commands. This feature is powered by Microsoft’s virtual assistant which will be first available in Outlook for iOS and will later land on Android.

This feature will be indicated through a new plus sign icon in the Outlook mobile app which will appear soon. By tapping on the plus sign, you’ll be able to ask for numerous things, search for files, and calendar entries. Moreover, you can also attach files to your emails just by simply using your voice.

However, when it comes to composing an email, the feature of saying every word will be somewhat similar to the dictation feature in Word. Alongside the voice addition, Microsoft is also launching a separate Scheduler Microsoft 365 service today which is designed for administrators to enable the service as a backend for scheduling meetings and replying to appropriate emails.
