WhatsApp now allows Android users to send 30 photos at once.

Facebook-owned messaging platform has quietly rolled out this update along with the revamped “Status” feature. Previously, WhatsApp allowed users to send only 10 photos at once. In January 2017, it rolled out bulk media sharing feature to iOS devices and now it is also available for Android users. Simply tap the attachment icon, go to Gallery and tap “+” sign to select multiple photos.

Last week, WhatsApp launched an updated version of “WhatsApp Status” which resembles Snapchat and Instagram Stories. It allows users to post picture, video and/or GIF as their Status that last for 24 hours and then automatically disappear.

WhatsApp has also recently enabled two-step verification (2SV) in addition to its end-to-end encryption. 2SV is an extra layer of security which ensures that only you can access your account even if someone else knows your password.

Acquired by Facebook in 2014, WhatsApp is a free messaging application with billions of active monthly users. It lets you send messages, photos, videos, GIFs, voice notes and documents. It connects users with their family and friends through audio and video calling features.
