You can now get your CNIC made online, NADRA relaunches portal

We all know how difficult it can be to stand in line at NADRA office just to get your National ID Card made. NADRA has heard your woes and has relaunched their web portal that would assist you in getting your ID card made from the ease of your home.

Last year, NADRA launched a web portal that would allow users to get their CNIC’s online. That service, however, did not last very long. In August 2015, the service had to be shut down because NADRA could not keep up with the increasing demand of people ordering their CNICs online. However, after almost a year NADRA’s portal has been relaunched with a promise to deliver this time!

The entire process is very simple and NADRA has apparently received over 122406 applications so far. This portal can be used, not only for CNICs but also, for a Pakistan Origin Card (POC) and Family Registration Certificate (FRC). NADRA has made the entire process very transparent and easier, not to mention fast! Once you’re done with filling the online form, you can make the necessary payments via your credit card and have it delivered at your doorstep.

Next time you want to modify or renew your CNIC, head on over to NADRAs web portal!
