Freelancer.com is one of the most popular freelancing platforms, especially among the Pakistani freelancers. In past, the local earners could transfer funds from their online accounts only to the credit cards/MasterCard or to the online wallets like Skrill and more. There was no option for External Withdrawals – allowing transferring funds directly to one’s local bank account – for the Pakistani users.
However, it has just been reported that the freelancing platform has now made the option available for the Pakistani bank accounts as well. Moreover, there are no local bank transfer charges involved.
According to the official website, Express Withdrawal feature “is the fastest and easiest way to transfer the funds from Freelancer.com directly to your bank accounts.”
Currently, Freelancer’s Express Withdrawals are available in the following countries. Through this feature, the users can withdraw earnings to their local currencies:
The site states that more countries would be added to the list in future. It further gives some information about the time periods for the withdrawals processing.
“Depending on how quickly your financial institution processes withdrawals, you can get your hard-earned money in 2-3 business days with no intermediary fees.
We recommend contacting your bank or financial institution to find out how quickly withdrawals are processed. Some institutions may take longer than others. For example, it takes 3-5 business days for withdrawals to be processed in Bangladesh.
First-time withdrawals will still go through the 15-day delay before processing.”
