Yayvo.com is a TCS venture and an online shopping e-commerce platform that provides with a fine range of products from fashion, tech gadgets and more. Now, Yayvo is launching Pakistan’s first ever education E-Store.
Just when you thought there is no room for innovation left in e-commerce, Yayvo has taken the plunge to start an education e-store. And they are calling it “another benchmark in Pakistan’s online shopping industry.”
Speaking on their latest venture, Mr. Salman Hasan, CEO, TCS ECOM said:
“This is the first of its kind initiative for the education sector by the e-commerce industry in Pakistan. Yayvo has a long history of introducing new and exciting initiatives for its customers and we feel that through this Education E-store we will bring a great deal of ease and convenience in the lives of our customers.”
Their estore will serve as a one-stop solution for the needs of schools, teachers, students and parents. It will allow online shoppers to purchase school essentials like uniforms and school shoes, course books, school accessories, school gear and stationery of multiple schools from Yayvo easily.
They have introduced a rather interesting Yayvo School Partner Loyalty Program allowing schools and colleges to sign on with Yayvo to display their institutes uniforms, books, and stationery for online buyers. Once anyone buys their merchandise, it would automatically translate into reward points for that particular school/college. The reward points can then be redeemed for items like books, tech gadgets to upgrade the institution’s infrastructure and educational items to provide the students with a more immersive experience.
Furthermore, students whose schools are a part of the Yayvo School Partner Program will benefit from exclusive deals and offerings in the education category on Yayvo. They will also get to participate in competitions, win exciting prizes and receive discount vouchers on purchase of education related items.
Ecommerce has thrived in Pakistan. However, the market seems to have stagnated with the same concepts and there is a huge lack of innovation. But along the way, we have come across many startups that are trying to change the narrative of ecommerce industry in Pakistan. The launch of Yayvo.com educational store is a testimony to that.
