The much-awaited iPhone X is in the market. But it comes with a $999 price tag which means a lot of us will think twice before buying it. If you don’t have that kind of money to burn, and if you love some light-hearted humor, we have found an app to fool your heart into believing you have an iPhone X.
A developer who goes by the name ‘idoideas’ on GitHub has developed an Android APK called ‘XOutOf10‘ which will make your phone look like the new iPhone X. If you follow tech news at all you’ll know that Apple finally delved into the bezel less phone range with the iPhone X, except it isn’t completely bezel less. It had a trapezoidal bezel notch at the top which will probably become its most identifiable feature when it rolls out.

The XOutOf10 app adds the iPhone X-like top bezel to your phone’s UI which kinda makes it look the iPhone X. However, there is a catch. It will not work on phones that run on OS versions below the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
We went ahead and tested the app on Xiaomi Redmi 4X, and this is what it looks like.
Since iPhone usually don’t display a lot of icons on the top status bar, the app cut out any icons that got in the way of the bezel. But it still looks pretty legit if you have smaller or lesser icons at the top.
While Apple fanatics are waiting for 2018 to come soon to that they can get their hands on iPhone X, you could humor them with this app till then!
