Xiaomi is set to launch another contender for the global midrange smartphone lineup – this time with an amazing 18:9 screen ratio!
The Redmi Note 5 is rumored to have a minimal bezel front along with a metallic back finish. It will boast a 5.5-inch display running on an 18:9 screen ratio, the first of its kind in Xiaomi’s product roster.
It will also be featuring a dual camera setup that pairs a 16 MP lens with an additional 5 MP lens. On the other hand, resolution of the front camera is yet to be confirmed.
The amazing midrange phone will probably come with a Snapdragon 660 or a MediaTek Helio P25, with the scales tipping in favor of the latter. To power up these amazing specs, Xiaomi will be arming the phone with a 4000 MAH battery.
A number of variants of the Redmi Note 5 are expected to be launched, with the major difference being present in the amount of RAM. Models of both 3 and 4 GB RAM are anticipated.
The price range is rumored to start from roughly Rs.15000 for the 3 GB RAM base model all the way up to around Rs.25000 for the 4 GB variant.
