Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4 was one of the popular devices of this year because of its reasonable price. Due to its price range, many fans of Xiaomi are looking forward to seeing an even better successor. A phone having model number MEE7 has appeared on TENNA and the device is expected to be Redmi Note 5.
According to the details revealed by TENNA, Redmi Note 5 will feature a 5.99-inch screen and 18:9 display. The device will also have thin bezels.
The design revealed on the website of the phone is much similar to Redmi Note 4. Although Xiaomi has offered dual cameras even in the budget segment like Mi A1 yet Redmi Note 5 will offer a single camera on the back.
Other details of specs mentioned by TENNA include 5.99-inch FHD+ display, 2160×1080 screen resolution, microSD slot, dual sim options and 4,000 mAh battery. The device will come in two variants i.e. 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, while another model will have 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. The device will have a 12MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter for selfies. The device will feature fingerprint scanner on the back beneath the camera.
Redmi Note 5 will run on MIUI 9 with an Android version of 7.1.2. No details of chipsets are provided and if we compare it with its predecessor Redmi Note 4 which carried Snapdragon 625, the phone will feature Snapdragon 630 presumably.
Redmi Note 4 was a success for Xiaomi and which made it 2nd largest handset provider in India. The expected price of Redmi Note 5 in Pakistan is Rs. 18,990. As the company is going to unveil Redmi Note 5 in 2018, it will undoubtedly boost the sales of the company as it is targeting a price conscious market.
