Xiaomi launches Mi 9T in Pakistan with 48MP camera in PKR 58,999

The Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is popular for introducing budget-centric and spec-loaded smartphones in emerging markets. In a recent development, Xiaomi has finally launched Mi 9T in Pakistan and it packs a handful of amazing features. The Xiaomi Mi 9T is one of the best value buy smartphones if you have a budget of less than PKR 60,000. And if you’re looking for a better deal, the 6GB, 128GB variant can be yours in just PKR 58,999 from ‘Hari Bari Sale’ on Daraz.

It is worth mentioning here that Xiaomi’s popularity in emerging markets is due to the production of premium midrangers and flagship smartphones in a decent price range. But the company had slowed down on introducing smartphones in Pakistan since the last couple of years. However, with the launch of all-new Mi 9T, the company is probably trying to retake the mid-range segment of Pakistani smartphone users.

The Mi 9T’s global version was released in China and other emerging markets such as India in June. The phone features a 6.39” Full HD+ display. The device stands out for having a 20MP pop-up selfie camera, while the rear gets an AI triple camera array featuring a 48MP f/1.75 main shooter, a 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle camera and an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto camera.

Powering the device is a large 4,000mAh battery and it supports 18W fast charging via USB-C. It also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and out of the box, it runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 skin on top.

The phone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor with 8nm process technology. With this technology, the CPU single-core performance is improved by 35%, and power consumption is reduced by 10%. In addition, Mi 9T’s AI algorithm improves processor efficiency by up to 2.6 times. Whether gaming or snapping photos, this performance won’t let you down.

Interestingly, the Mi 9T is available to purchase from ‘Hari Bari Sale’ on Daraz. The smartphone is available in Glacier Blue and Flame Red color options on Daraz. Whereas, the official price for the 6GB, 128GB variant of Mi 9T is PKR 60,999.
