Xiaomi is finally launching in Pakistan on Feb 20

Xiaomi is officially launching in Pakistan on February 20, 2017.

As per reports, the launch event will be held at Serena Hotel, Islamabad. Zong and Daraz.pk are also listed as the launch partners.

With the approval from Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the Chinese smartphone manufacturing company has recently partnered with Smartlink Technologies to officially launch in Pakistan. After the launch, Xiaomi smartphones as well as eco products such as power banks, headsets, adapters etc. will be available in stores across Pakistan. The distribution will also be made through the online store, Daraz.pk.

PTA has approved four phones: Xiaomi Mi Max, Xiaomi Mi 5, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Redmi Note 4.

  • Mi Max is 6.44 inches, Hexa-core with 3GB RAM, 64GB Storage, 16 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera, 4850 mAh battery and operates on Android OS.
  • Mi 5 is 5.15 inches, Quad-core with 3GB RAM, 32/64 GB Storage, 16 MP rear camera, 4 MP front camera, 3000 mAh battery and operates on Android OS.
  • Note 3 is 5.5” with 2/3GB Ram, 16GB internal storage, 16MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 4050 mAh battery, and operates on Android Lollipop 5.1.
  • Note 4 is 5.5” with 3/4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 4100 mAh battery and operates on Android Marshmallow 6.0.

The specifications are susceptible to change. There are no details available for the price yet but Xiaomi phones are known for being good quality and affordable. We will update you about the price and other details as soon as we know.
