Xiaomi’s electric vehicle, the SU7 Max, has recently been spotted at Karachi port and there are rumors that Xiaomi may introduce its electric vehicle in Pakistan soon. The world’s second-largest smartphone manufacturer created an uproar with the launch of the SU7 EV in Beijing this year, racking up around 90,000 pre-orders on its very first day.
Some of the social media users speculated that Xiaomi might be testing the EV for the Pakistani market adding that Airlink which assembles Xiaomi and Redmi phones in Pakistan could launch Xiaomi electric cars here.
Despite this, it is not entirely implausible that Xiaomi will be launching the electric lineup in Pakistan since other brands are also entering the country.
Master Motors has also unveiled the Deepal EVs from Changan, while DFML is locally assembling models such as the Honri 2.0 and 3.0; BYD has also arrived in Pakistan.
Xiaomi SU7 EV Expected Price in Pakistan:
If Xiaomi officially brings the SU7 EV to Pakistan, the expected price for the basic model is expected to fall between 9 Million to 9.5 Million Pakistani Rupees.
This projection is pegged on the current international price of about $31000 for the base model.
Xiaomi SU7 EV Expected Release Date in Pakistan:
At the moment, there is no official information about the exact date of arrival, and it is still unknown how many electric vehicles have been imported to Pakistan. Whether these imports are for testing or the rich car enthusiasts is not very clear.
If the SU7 EV is ever launched, it could be quite intriguing to see how consumers react to an electric vehicle from a brand primarily known for its budget-friendly smartphones, especially considering its previous lack of emphasis on after-sales support and warranty services.
