Elon Musk’s xAI, an American AI business, started updating its Grok 2 chatbot model on Friday and is now available to all X users (previously Twitter). Even though xAI has become involved in a legal battle with OpenAI, the company is continuing to create new products.
The business boasts that its upgraded Grok model is three times quicker, more accurate, more obedient to instructions, and capable of understanding multiple languages.
Importantly, free users can only ask Grok ten questions every two hours. However, there will be increased usage limits for X’s Premium and Premium+ plan members.

Furthermore, xAI has included a “Grok button” on X to assist users in finding relevant context, comprehending current events, and delving further into popular conversations.
In addition, the AI firm is revamping its business API in a number of ways. Two new Grok models will be available in the API, and they’re more efficient and perform better, which means they’re cheaper.
The cost of the models will go down from $15/M token to $10/M token, and the cost per million input tokens will drop from $5/M token to $2/M token. X also brought Grok a new image generator called Aurora, which makes more realistic visuals with fewer limits.
