World Summit Awards calling applications of digital innovators

The World Summit Awards (WSA) are now accepting applications of local digital innovations that are producing high impact by improving societies. Essentially, WSA is an international platform that promotes and recognizes cutting-edge ICT innovations that are impacting communities. These digital innovations can be an app for devices or wearables, a website, a kiosk installation, an SMS based product, an online game or an interactive platform. Running in its 15th year, WSA has a network of over 180 participating countries.

Award Categories

WSA is looking for digital applications that are impacting a local society across the following eight categories:

  • Business & Commerce
  • Learning & Education
  • Health & Well Being
  • Smart Settlements & Urbanization
  • Government & Citizen Engagement
  • Environment & Green Energy
  • Culture & Tourism
  • Inclusion & Empowerment

How to apply?

Interested candidates can only apply through a National Expert, who will guide the applicants how to meet the criteria for national selection. The Country Experts for Pakistan are Jehan Ara, President – P@SHA and Agha Hamza – Portfolio Manager – IlmIdeas 2. Once an applicant registers their project here, the National Experts will review the application for the country selection.

WSA is accepting applications until August 31st, 2018.
