WhatsApp web finally available for iPhone users

WhatsApp web version allows users to utilize the messaging service on a web portal to send and receive messages. The service was launched earlier this year for Android users. Now, WhatsApp has quietly pushed the service for iPhone users as well.

Here is a screenshot to prove the claim. The update was first noticed by a reddit user who successfully managed to sign in through the web platform and avail the service. To use this facility, first you need to make sure that you have the latest version of the application installed on your phone. If not, update it. Then open the settings of the app and you will see a ‘WhatsApp Web’ button which will open a QR code scanner to scan the QR from web.whatsapp.com. Once you have scanned the code, you will be good to go.

It should be noted here that WhatsApp had blamed Apple responsible for such a late update owing to its platform limitations.
