Whatsapp just added 3 new features in its latest update

Whatsapp has rolled out exciting new features in the recent updates for Android, iOS and Windows phones. These new features were first tested in the beta versions and then made official.

The first new feature allows a group admin or any other member to set a 500 character brief description of the group. The group description could be added or even changed by any member of the group. This is quite useful for people who use WhatsApp groups for business purposes.

The second feature is a small yet important update that adds ‘search participants’ feature, which will allow users to search for any group member easily by just typing his/her name from the group info screen. This feature will help users a lot, imagine you are in a WhatsApp group with 100 members and you want to find whether or not your friend is in the group, you simply search the name and easily find out.

The third feature is that you can switch between voice and video calls. Yes, finally you don’t have to go through the hassle of disconnecting and calling again. Now users can easily switch between voice and video calls by simply tapping the video button while on a call.

These 3 new features are rolling out with the latest update of WhatsApp. Are you excited to get these updates? Let us know in the comments sections below.
