WhatsApp’s sister application for business owners, WhatsApp Business is finally coming to the iOS platform. The application is currently in the beta testing phase after which a stable version is expected to launch in the AppStore very soon.
WhatsApp is one of the most widely used applications for one-on-one messaging. It has quietly killed the traditional messaging and now is widely used by people for personal use, business use, activism, and entertainment. Facebook, the parent company of WhatsApp, understands that very well and last year sprouted WhatsApp business for an official communication account between customers and clients of a business.
So far, the application has received good feedback and has been used by thousands of small and medium level businesses in the world. The launch of the application for iOS will increase the applications reach and business owners using iOS devices will also be able to avail this service.
Through WhatsApp Business, a business profile can be set up with details including office hours, address, business description, and email. Instant automated messages can be set up, the conversations can be classified as per the labels assigned to them. There are insights to figure out how many messages were delivered, responded and all.
