Wateen And Telenor Join Hands To Oversee The Bandwidth Demand

In recent news, Wateen Telecom, one of the largest fiber infrastructure companies in Pakistan, will be partnering with Telenor Pakistan to ensure better connectivity and higher internet speed across 12 major cities in order to meet the growing bandwidth demand.

As of now, Telenor Pakistan relies on Wateen to main over 6,000 km of its network across the country. However, this partnership will further play a profound role in improving customer experiences and overall reliability. According to Adil Rashid, CEO of Wateen Telecom, the concept of this partnership is to ensure that customers receive the best internet experience whether at home or on to go. This further extends to higher bandwidth transport capabilities and uninterrupted data services.

This is all due to the emerging demands and broadband subscribers which have escalated from 14 million to 100 million. Hence, other companies will soon take similar steps in order to meet the consumer’s requirements.
