INNOVentures Global in collaboration with Pakistan Innovation Foundation (PIF) is launching VentureLab, Pakistan’s First Pre-seed Ideas Accelerator designed especially for Professionals and University Faculty. A funding of PKR 1,000,000 will be awarded in order to accelerate your idea, in addition to the access to prototyping support.
VentureLab is an ideas accelerator designed for the professionals working full-time jobs, who have great entrepreneurial ideas but are not sure whether the ideas can be transformed into commercial opportunity. VentureLab takes them through a 5 month guided process from idea to design, prototyping, marketing strategy, investment and business planning.
As per guidelines, in order to qualify to be a part of VentureLab, you need to have a ground breaking idea and unrestricted intellectual property ownership of that idea as an individual or a team. You need to take time out of your schedule to go through the rigorous process of 5 months. And, if VentureLab helps you transform your idea into a commercial opportunity then you should be willing to be the CEO of your startup by dedicating it most of your time.
INNOVentures will provide the faculty with a wide network of industry leading innovators as mentors who will guide them through every step of the process.
PIF is a private non-profit organization which promotes innovation across Pakistan through awareness building, research and reward and recognition. PIF recently announced the Winners of Pakistan’s 2nd National Innovation Awards in the category of education, technology, corporate, Fintech, industrial innovation, art and design.
