The USAID – US Agency for International Development has funded MIT Enterprise Forum of Pakistan (MITEFP) Business Acceleration Program 2015 under its Training For Pakistan project. It is being held on 2nd of June in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
This program aims to help grow the participating IT/ITES/Telecom/New Media Companies/Teams including Women Led Existing companies/Start-ups and Research Teams to initiate and take their ventures to the next level. These companies/teams will be put through training programs to help them prepare and execute their business plans.
Jason Pontin, Chairman, MIT Enterprise Forum Global, and Editor-in-Chief of the Technology Review has stated ”I always use MITEF Pakistan and BAP as an example of how MITEF can have an outsized impact in a country – particularly an emerging market with great entrepreneurs, such as Pakistan”
One member of the top organization from each track will be fully sponsored to attend the MIT EDP (Entrepreneurship Development Program) at MIT in USA. OPEN USA would also arrange Road Shows in the USA where these companies will be honored and presented to OPEN members/Investors.
All eligible IT/ITES/Telecom/New Media Companies are encouraged to participate in this Business Acceleration Program 2015 to avail this great opportunity and gain exposure. The submission of applications will start from the 4th of June & end on the 8th. The finalists will be selected by the mid of November barring any changes to the program schedule.
