US safety commission advises against use of Galaxy Note 7 devices

Galaxy Note 7 was a masterstroke from Samsung. Released before iPhone 7, with beautiful design and great features; it was all set to challenge iPhone in the best turnaround shopping season of the year.

Samsung made one mistake though, they forgot to make it actually safe to use. With reports of over 36 incidents of Note 7 catching fire during recharging and even normal usage, Samsung has issued a massive global recall of all Note 7 devices sold.

It seems though that the situation is getting worse for both Samsung and its dreams of rivaling iPhone in sales this year. US safety commission is now recommending all users to immediately turn off their Note 7 and stop using it until it has been replaced or exchanged by Samsung. In a tweet sent out to its followers, the US safety commission bluntly told its readers to stop using Galaxy Note 7 immediately.

The complete statement mentions that US safety commission is now working with Samsung to ensure a fast and smooth recall process.

One thing clear from this development is that Samsung is in deep waters right now, and it needs swift and concrete actions if it wants to gain the trust of its users back. Until the whole replacement process from Samsung is complete, turning off your Note 7 and not using it is probably the safest option for everyone.
