Ufone is one of the Pakistani telcos which applied for, and won the 3G auction arranged by PTA a couple of days back. While there is still time in the full-scale implementation of 3G services across a major part of the country, telecom service providers are on the track to equip their subscribers with next-gen technology-compatible smartphones, and Ufone has just announced a program in regards to the same idea.
Announced via a Twitter update, Ufone has kicked off a Mobile Trade Program of its own that offers Ufone subscribers a chance at exchanging their current 2G phones with a new 3G-enabled smartphone with paying the difference amount on top.
