Ufone 3G/4G Internet Settings & MMS Settings

Today we are going to talk about the configuration of Ufone Internet Settings and MMS Settings manually and through call and SMS. Pakistan Telecom Mobile Limited (PTML) or Ufone is a Pakistani cellular service provider. Ufone started its operations in 2001 and it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL). As a result of PTCL’s privatization, Ufone became a part of Etisalat in 2006. It has a subscriber base of over 24 million and network coverage in more than 10,000 locations across Pakistan.

You can configure your handset for Ufone Internet Settings & MMS Settings in one of the three ways described below:

1. Ufone Internet Settings & MMS Settings: Manual Configuration

For Ufone Internet Settings and MMS Settings on your mobile, follow these steps:

Ufone Internet Settings

Here are the details of Ufone Internet Settings or GPRS settings or EDGE settings:

  • Go to Main menu
  • Tap Settings> Wireless and networks> Mobile Networks
  • Tap Access Point Names (APN)
  • Press menu button
  • Tap New APN and edit following parameters

APN Type: Internet

  • You can leave all the other fields as they are.
  • Press menu button and select Save

Ufone MMS Settings

  • Go to Main menu
  • Tap Settings> Wireless and networks> Mobile Networks
  • Tap Access Point Names (APN)
  • Press menu button
  • Tap New APN and edit following parameters

MMS APN for Ufone Prepaid ufone.pmms
MMS APN for Ufone Postpaid ufone.mms
Login name < blank >
Password < blank >
Authentication Normal
MMSC http://www.ufonemms.com:80/

Port (if required) 8080
APN type MMS

  • You can leave all the other fields as they are.
  • Press menu button and select Save

Note – Select the APN according to the product and turn Use packet data enabled “ON” when required otherwise turn it “OFF” for further details call 333

  • APN for Prepaid(GPRS): ufone.pinternet
  • APN for Prepaid(MMS): ufone.pmms
  • APN for Postpay(GPRS): ufone.internet
  • APN for Postpay(MMS): ufone.mms

2. Ufone Internet Settings & MMS Settings via SMS

You can also get Ufone Internet Settings & MMS settings by sending your phone’s model number in an SMS to 222.

3. Ufone Internet Settings & MMS Settings via Call

Call 333 and the staff will help you configure your handset for Ufone Internet Settings and MMS Settings.
