uBlock Origin is now available for Microsoft Edge

uBlock origins, one of the most popular adblocker, is now available for Microsoft Edge on Windows 10.

What is uBlock Origin?

uBlock Origin is an ad blocking extension which helps users hide distracting ads while browsing a website. It is one of the most popular extensions available on Chrome store and on Mozilla Firefox add-on market.

How does it fare against Ad Block Plus?

Ad Block Plus (ABP) and uBlock Origin users have always locked horns over arguing the more popular platform. ABP has drifted a bit with its plans by showing accepted ads and consuming significantly higher resources. So it comes as a huge relief to Microsoft Edge users that this extension is now available in Windows Store.

How to install?

To install uBlock Origin, you have to have installed the latest anniversary update of Windows 10. Navigate to this link and click on install to use it in Microsoft Edge. It does say preview on the description page so expect some instability and bugs after installing it.
