Uber revises fare rates for Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad

As the dollar rate and petrol price fluctuates, Uber Pakistan has revised the fare rates in major cities of Pakistan of Mini, Auto and Go rides. According to Uber, to ensure the ride experience is “seamless” and maintain a certain quality of the rides, they are revising their fare rates which will be effective immediately.

In hindsight the revised fares for the major cities are:

Lahore:

1. Mini:

  • Base Fare: Rs. 64
  • Per KM: Rs. 8.13
  • Per Minute: Rs. 3.63
  • Minimum Fare: Rs. 96

2. Auto:

  • Base Fare: Rs. 17.71
  • Per KM: Rs.12.09
  • Per Minute: Rs. 2.79
  • Minimum Fare: Rs. 71

3. Go:

  • Base Fare: Rs. 80
  • Per KM: Rs. 10.16
  • Per Minute: Rs. 4.54
  • Minimum Fare: Rs. 120

Karachi

1. Mini:

  • Base Fare: Rs. 64
  • Per KM: Rs. 8.80
  • Per Minute: Rs. 3.93
  • Minimum Fare: Rs. 96

2. Auto:

  • Base Fare: Rs. 17.71
  • Per KM: Rs. 12.13
  • Per Minute: Rs. 3.61
  • Minimum Fare: Rs. 71

3. Go:

  • Base Fare: Rs. 80
  • Per KM: Rs. 11.00
  • Per Minute: Rs. 4.91
  • Minimum Fare: Rs. 120

Islamabad

1. Mini:

  • Base Fare: Rs. 72
  • Per KM: Rs. 6.17
  • Per Minute: Rs. 3.67
  • Minimum Fare: Rs. 96

2. Auto:

  • Base Fare: Rs. 50
  • Per KM: Rs. 7.50
  • Per Minute: Rs. 3.50
  • Minimum Fare: Rs. 65

3. Go:

  • Base Fare: Rs. 90
  • Per KM: Rs. 7.71
  • Per Minute: Rs. 4.62
  • Minimum Fare: Rs. 120

We are assuming the fares are applicable immediately within the above-mentioned cities. It is not clear whether Uber will also be changing the prices in other cities as well soon or not.
