Careem is giving away 1000 free rides in collaboration with foodpanda

Careem, the taxi-hailing service, is giving away 1000 free rides to foodpanda customers, online food ordering service, for a limited time period in Karachi and Lahore.


Just a few weeks ago, foodpanda went on to share detailed numbers of the food ordered through their platform. foodpanda garnered 1 Million orders and 422 Million Rupees of Transaction for 2015. Where as, Careem is comparatively a new comer with services available in Lahore and Karachi.

In order to participate, users will be expected to place their orders with foodpanda mobile app and get a chance to be picked for a reward of free ride through Careem.

There are no strings attached; each lucky customer to win the reward will be sent a unique code through SMS. This code must be used while booking a ride with Careem to enjoy the ride absolutely free of cost.

Junaid Iqbal, Managing Director Careem while talking to TechJuice said

 “We are very excited for this deal with foodpanda to bring yet another joyous moment for the customers. Careem is providing convenient and hassle-free transportation services in Pakistan, and is keen on such partnerships to provide more convenient transportation options for its customers.”

This offer and partnership comes at a point when Uber has launched its services in Pakistan and social media has got in total frenzy with netizens using the service and sharing their reviews about Uber in Pakistan.
