Two Quaid-i-Azam University students arrested after found involved in drug peddling

Police have arrested two students of Quaid-i-Azam university who were allegedly involved in the distribution of drugs among other students. The two suspects were found in possession of more than 3 kilograms of hashish and ecstasy pills during a raid on their premises.

Adnan Wazir and Mohammad Tayyab, both of which are students at Quaid-i-Azam University, were arrested after a Nigerian national, who was under investigation himself on the charges of drug peddling, revealed information about their operation.

A first information report has yet to be filed against both suspects. Police are currently gathering information and evidence about both individuals while investigating whether they were alone in their activities or if they had more accomplices within the University.

Three Nigerian nationals were earlier arrested from QAU, who were found to be in possession of drugs worth more than 8.5 million Pakistani Rupees.
