Twitter Includes Malala Yousafzai On Its Year In Review Microsite

The youngest Nobel Prize winner, Malala Yousafzai, has been included on Twitter’s #YearInReview microsite among the most memorable moments of the year. Earlier, she was also featured in Facebook’s Year In Review video which also had a clip from Zaid Ali’s ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

Twitter has just launched its #YearInReview microsite to highlight the most notable and unforgettable moments of the year in tweets. It is amazing how such an eventful year can be summarized in 140 character tweets.

We selected a few stand out tweets from #MalalaYousafzai trend on Twitter’s microsite.

Other moments that made this year memorable included Twitter debuts from celebrities like Robert Downey Jr. and Garth Brooks, XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Bradley Cooper’s infamous star-studded selfie at the Oscars, soccer World Cup in Brazil, loss of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 in Ukraine, death of Robin Williams and the protests for elections in Hong Kong.
