Twitter Blue Subscribers will now have Podcasts

Twitter Blue users on iOS will soon have access to a revamped Spaces page that includes podcasts. This update is being rolled out by Twitter. According to the social network, Blue customers on Android will soon be able to access the newly revamped Spaces page.

When Twitter initially announced that it will be bringing podcasts to its platform in the form of a revamped Spaces tab, the company stated that these podcasts would be available to a set of worldwide English-speaking consumers on iOS and Android devices. Now, Twitter has announced that it will begin testing podcasts with users who subscribe to Twitter Blue.

The Spaces tab has been overhauled to include a new feature called “Stations,” which allows users to create customizable hubs that collect material based on a variety of categories, such as news, music, sports, and more. The suggestions that are presented to you are determined by the topics and people that you choose to follow. Users of Twitter will soon have access to a curated collection of live and recorded Spaces that they may choose for themselves. Additionally, the hubs will showcase some of the most well-known podcasts from all around the world.

When you first view the newly redesigned Spaces Tab, you will see that it is divided into three areas. You will see a list of Stations at the very top of the page. These Stations scroll horizontally and display a variety of topics and themes that you may listen to. Following that is the Spaces focus, which presents a selection of the most carefully picked audio material. You will then get a list of future Spaces as the final step.

Twitter claims that the podcasts are a part of its intention to give users an “all-in-one, customized audio destination.” This will be accomplished by providing users with even more audio material that they can listen to. According to the company, its own research indicates that 45 percent of people who use Twitter in the United States also listen to podcasts on a monthly basis. As a result, the company will automatically suggest podcasts to users in order to assist them in discovering content that is relevant to the subjects in which they are interested.
