Turkish General 4G: An Android One phone to be launched in Pakistan

General Mobile 4G, an Android One smartphone, will see its exclusive launch in Pakistan during Daraz Mobile Week which starts this June 20th.

Daraz, the famous online Pakistani ecommerce marketplace, has revealed that it would be launching General Mobile 4G exclusively for Pakistani populous during Daraz Mobile Week. The disclosure was brought-forth as a result of Promotional Marketing Campaigns of Daraz for their Mobile Week, and through one of Daraz’ web post.

General Mobile 4G is a Turkish Smartphone which is built in accordance with Android One standardization.

Packed with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor, the Turkish Mobile 4G comes with Android Marshmellow 6.0.1. The 2GB RAM is being added to the bundle to suffice for any of the user’s multi-tasking needs without getting too heavy on their pockets.

Some Specifications are as below:

  • Display: 5.0″ IPS LCD
  • GPU: Qualcomm Adreno 306 running on 400 MHz frequency
  • Storage: 16 GB of Internal with the utility of adding an external SD Card
  • Supports hyper-fast 4G LTE Connectivity
  • Corning Gorilla Glass 4 Protection
  • A 13 mp rear Camera with dual LED

Not to mention, that it is an Android One which are developed on optimized set of Google recommended hardware. Specially tailored for developing world, these phones are being rolled out in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Myanmar.

Daraz Mobile Week is going to be first of its kind selling week solely dedicated for mobile phones. The sale is set to hit Daraz.pk on June 20, 2016, but the promotional series has already begun. Daraz.pk has reserved Exclusive Launches, bundled with some amazing discounts and EasyPay Deals.

The Black Friday brought by Daraz on November 27, 2015, hit 1.5 million visits on the website and 55 times more orders than a regular shopping day as claimed by Muneeb Mayer, CEO Daraz.pk.

Pakistan saw its first Android One smartphone last year, which was no other than QMobile A1.
