A video of the US President Donald Trump referring to Tim Cook by a wrong name has been making rounds on the social and digital media.
Donald Trump called the CEO of Cupertino-based tech company by a wrong name during a recent visit of the executive to the White House. Seated alongside Tim Cook and Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump was chairing a meeting of American Workforce Policy Advisory Board when he could be seen referring to the CEO of one of the World’s most valuable company by a wrong name.
In the video brought to us through “The Guardian” and others, Donald Trump could be seen mentioning, “I mean you’ve really put a big investment in our country, we appreciate it very much, Tim Apple. But we’re opening it up. We have to bring people in. We want them to be people based on merit. And we want them to come in legally.”
The world’s first company to touch the trillion dollar mark (the company has slid down the mark now), Apple is oftentimes recognized as a very valuable resource possessed by the US, contributing to its economic growth and accelerating job creation. This time too, Donald Trump was actually praising the investments brought by the company when he accidentally got the name wrong. In the past too, there have been instances when Donald Trump referred to executives by wrong names. Once he mentioned, Lockheed Martin CEO Marillyn Hewson as Marillyn Lockheed.
