Tripkar to organize the first bootcamp for young girls at Naran

With an aim to promote local tourism and independence of women, this April, Tripkar, a travel and tourism company, is organizing a four-day boot camp “Women in Boots 2017” in collaboration with SHE. The bootcamp will empower 20 young women hailing from selected institutions of Lahore who will be undertaking this trip to Naran free-of-cost.

Stylo with their slogan of “Jo Chahoon wo Paoon” has come forward to support the event as their main sponsors along with DeManchi Hotel and Telenor Pakistan as the second tier sponsors.

During the 4-day event, the women will be undertaking a series of fun and thrilling activities which will not only bring out their hidden potential but will also help in refining their entrepreneurial and leadership skills.

At the end of these campus drives, top 5 selected participants from each institute will proceed to the second stage, a Pre-Boot Camp session. This session will test their networking skills and knowledge regarding travel and tourism industry of Pakistan. Out of all participants, only top 14 finalists will be shortlisted for the trip.

The remaining 6 slots will be filled by 3 winners each of the following competitions:

1. “Stylo Moments” – an online photography contest
2. “Tripkar – Travel Pakistan” – a travel story-writing competition

The management team of Tripkar is quite confident that their vision of having a women- specific boot camp will increase women’s self-belief in their capabilities. Additionally, it will breathe an independent spirit among them that will inspire these women to achieve their future goals.

A range of motivational sessions, team-building workshops, business related lectures and fun- filled activities await these prospective 20 young women this April.

Pakistan is a country overloaded with natural beauty, just recently, a private publication ranked Pakistan as the 47th country out of a list of 200 whose travel and tourism are expected to rise enormously. Pakistan saw a dip in tourism after the War on Terror in 2001 but ever since things have started to get in shape.Many exciting initiatives are currently being taken in the form of travel and tourism startups to make it an attractive proposition.
