Top Car Launches Expected in Pakistan in 2025

2024 has been a record-breaking year for new vehicle debuts, with a wide range of car releases and brands, including BYD, Deepal, GUGO, and Honri. New vehicle releases are also expected next year. Recent research indicates that the following vehicles will debut in Pakistan in 2025.

Expected Car Launches in 2025

Let’s take a look at the lineup of vehicles that the local industry is anticipating for 2025.

Hyundai Tucson 4th Generation

In 2025, Pakistan will see the arrival of the Hyundai Tucson 4th Generation, a model that boasts a more contemporary design and upgraded amenities. Still not sure if it will be CKD or CBU, but this new version claims to be the complete fourth generation with no cosmetic updates.

There will soon be a new Tucson SUV that meets or exceeds all international standards. The estimated price is 1.1 Crore PKR.

Honda HR V Hybrid (Vezel)

As of 2025, the old non-hybrid version of the Honda HR-V will be replaced by the hybrid, which goes by the name Vezel.

This Pakistani-made hybrid SUV will have an edge in the expanding Pakistani market for such vehicles because of its superior fuel economy and environmentally friendly features. The estimated cost of this car is 90 Lacs PKR.

Hyundai Sonata N Line

With some sporty upgrades and a new look, the Hyundai Sonata N Line is hitting Pakistani roads soon. An aggressive body kit and performance-oriented stylistic elements will be added to the N Line, which is based on the existing 8th generation.

The Sonata N Line would join the ranks of the most costly CKD sedans available with this version. The estimated cost is 1.3 crore PKR.

Kia Sportage 5th Generation

In the first half of 2025, Sportage is also expected to make its way to Pakistan. It appears to be a pretty futuristic vehicle, and it’s all good. In 2025, after a successful four-year global debut, it will make its way to Pakistan.

Whether it will be a hybrid or not is still up in the air, but it will be available in a proper international variant, not merely a facelift, in Pakistan. Its cost is 1.2 crore PKR.

Kia Sorento Hybrid CKD

Sources have reported that the Kia Sorento will debut in Pakistan in the first half of 2025. This hybrid vehicle will compete with the Haval H6 HEV. While the exact price remains unclear, it is expected to be higher than the Haval, given that it is a Korean model.

The Sorento will feature a 1.6-liter turbo engine, promising a fuel economy of up to 15 Kmpl internationally, though local fuel efficiency may differ. The estimated price is 1.8 Crore PKR.

GWM Haval Tank 500 HEV

In 2025, the GWM Haval Tank 500 HEV will enter the premium SUV market in Pakistan, launching in CKD form. This vehicle is designed for adventurous consumers, offering impressive off-road capabilities and hybrid technology.

It aims to compete with well-established models like the Toyota Prado and Fortuner. Its projected cost is 2–3 Crore PKR.
