Top 5 Xiaomi smartphones in Pakistan for 2019

Xiaomi took its time coming to Pakistan, but now that it has entered Pakistani markets, we are seeing a steady stream of mobiles launched by the brand.

Xiaomi is known for high-quality smartphones and other electronics and maintains good features in even budget phones. In 2014, Xiaomi became China’s largest smartphone company. But the company wasn’t limited to China. In the second quarter of 2018, Xiaomi was the world’s fourth-largest smartphone manufacturer. We have collected the best Xiaomi has to offer in Pakistan so let’s dive in:

1. Xiaomi Mi 8

Price: Rs. 64,999

This phone celebrates the 8th anniversary of Xiaomi. Its got a 6.21 inches display with two memory/RAM variants. One with 64 GB internal storage and 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage with 8 GB RAM. Xiaomi Mi 8 dual rear cameras are a modest 12 MP and a 12 MP telephoto camera.

The battery size is not impressive considering the screen size. The battery size is 3400 mAh which could be better.

2. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7

Price: Rs. 43,499

The Redmi Note 7 supports a huge 48 MP, f/1.8 camera that tops this list. This is as big a camera you can find in this range. With the PDAF technology, the Note 7 can focus fast and take good shots in a snap. Moreover, the 5 MP, f/2.4, depth sensor means it can take pictures with a blurred background.

The selfie camera is not a compromise here. The 13 MP, f/2.2 selfie camera features an HDR mode which produces some stunning selfies.

3. Xiaomi Mi A2

Price: Rs.36,999

An interesting trademark of the Mi A series is that they feature stock Android or pure Android operating system. Xiaomi Mi A2 has the best camera in this list. The two rear cameras are rated as 12 MP, f/1.8, and 20 MP, f/1.8. Same goes for the selfie camera which is 20 MP.

At 3000 mAh, it’s battery is small when compared to other phones in this price range and the same goes for its display which is 5.99 inches.

4. Xiaomi Redmi 7

Price: Rs. 25,999

Redmi 7 is a great mid-range phone. Its got a big size with 6.26 inches screen coupled with a large 4000 mAh battery. Even the 4 GB RAM is a rarity at this price range. The only mediocre thing about this phone is the 12 MP main camera. However, it is complemented with a second 2 MP depth sensor. Its selfie camera is also a modest 8 MP.

5. Xiaomi Redmi S2

Price: Rs. 22,499

The Redmi S2 looks stylish as hell. It has a sleek screen size of 5.99 inches. The battery is a modest 3080 mAh while it has two variants for internal memory and RAM sizes combinations. The first one has 64 GB, 4 GB RAM while the second one features 32 GB, 3 GB RAM.

The dual rear cameras are the main camera and a depth sensor with 12 MP, f/2.2, 1.25μm, PDAF, and 5 MP respectively. The S2 really shines when it comes to selfies. It features an impressive 16 MP selfie camera.
