This Ramadan EatOye will help you order Iftar for the underprivileged

Ramadan is one of the most awaited months of Islamic Calendar, in which, Muslims throughout the world seek forgiveness and blessings of Allah. A major chunk of Muslims prefers giving charity and zakat in this holy month. Pakistani business community also understands the importance of this holy month.

EatOye, one of the most widely used food ordering service of Pakistan, is collaborating with Saylani Welfare Trust for its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project to provide Iftar, Dinner and Sehri to all the underprivileged. EatOye is also encouraging its customers to get a step ahead in helping EatOye aid as many people as we all can.

While talking to TechJuice, Nauman Sikander, Managing Director of EatOye! said,

“Food poverty is Pakistan’s darkest secret. Millions of people across Pakistan cannot afford a balanced, healthy diet. Ramadan is the holy month of fasting, penitence and charity. In the same spirit, we are encouraging foodies to provide Iftar and dinner for as many less privileged people as they can.”

He further said,

“Partnering with Saylani Welfare Trust is a terrific opportunity and the reasonable next step for us to reach a broader range of needy people across Karachi, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi.”

EatOye, in order to keep the process transparent for the users, has collaborated with Saylani Welfare Trust. As soon as the order for Iftar of needy will be placed, Saylani’s Team will be notified and their rider will collect the money from customers’ doorsteps in an estimated time of 2 hours. The customers will be provided with details including a slip from Saylani Welfare Trust.

The amount required to feed one person is 120 PKR but EatOye has put a threshold of 600PKR which means through the service you can feed a minimum of 4 deserving persons.

We believe this is a great initiative, in addition to EatOye, there are other major brands like Pepsi and Mobilink, who have come forward to help and seek blessings of God during the holy month of Ramadan.
