This Pakistani Student made a gadget to help visually impaired people

A Pakistani student from Peshawar has created a device that would be helpful for an overlooked group of visually impaired people which includes blind, partially blind, color blind or people with complex eye diseases.

The device called ‘Sonic eye’ can indicate the obstacles ahead and makes it easier for visually impaired people to walk by.

Sonic eye comprises a white stick that is attached to a navigation system. This navigation helps to identify the objects in their path. These sensors alert the visually impaired with a loud sound when an object is nearby.

Pakistani women have great potential to exceed in technology. This device has been built by a student, named Hafsa Jamal. She is currently working to develop a mobile app that will navigate the blind people without using the stick. She also wants to place such navigational devices to the daily ease of life.

These efforts of this talented student should be appreciated and promoted to the foremost level in Pakistan.

With the help of this tech, visually impaired people will have a phenomenal change in the behavior. With such products, they can’t even think of being blind and they don’t have to ask for help always.

These products can make a huge social impact in the society. This modern technology allows them to live their life independently. However, the government should have taken more step to help out these visually impaired.
