Telenor Youth Forum delegates announced

Telenor’s signature annual event for youth, the Telenor Youth Forum, has just announced the delegate names from 13 economies of the world including Pakistan. The selected youth delegates will gather at Oslo (Norway) later this year to share ideas and opinions on Digitization for Peace, this years’ theme for the forum.

In addition to the forum, the delegates will participate in different workshops, activities and attend the coveted Nobel Peace Prize ceremony and the concert. Mehroze Munnawar and Sajawal Waseem will be representing Pakistan for this years’ forum. Mehroze is passionate for creative solutions to tackle social challenges whereas, Sajawal Waseem believes in simple technologies to change lives.

The Telenor Youth Forum has been empowering youth entrepreneurs and activists in Pakistan. Some notable alumni of TYF from Pakistan include Awais Imran, the founder of a price-comparison startup PriceOye; Saad Hamid, a digital evangelist and community mobilizer; Maaz Imran, the CEO and founder of an online tuition service called eTutionHub; Sadaf Amin, an engineer from University of Agriculture; and Fatima Rizwan, the founder of TechJuice.
