Telenor Group has appointed Bilal Kazmi as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Telenor Pakistan today. Telenor Pakistan’s current CMO, Irfan Wahab Khan will take charge as the Chief Executive Officer of the company on 1st August 2016. Bilal is currently instated as Head of International Business at Dtac – Telenor Group’s Business Unit in Thailand.

Bilal has been a part of Telenor since 2004 when he joined Telenor Pakistan as Senior Manager Plan and Concept in Sales & Distribution. After designing and launching the distribution model of TP, Bilal went on to lead TP’s Product Development, Postpaid and Call Center organisations. He was appointed as Vice President and Head of Customer Care Division in 2011. He moved to Telenor’s Asia Office in Bangkok in 2013 as Vice President of Global Shared Services and in 2014, he became the Vice President and Head of International Business for Dtac, Thailand. While continuing to retain the same responsibility, he became a part of Telenor Global WholeSale’s management team in January 2016
