Telenor has partnered with Facebook to bring free Facebook to its customer base. The service users now can enjoy free Facebook on the go through Facebook Flex without any cost and even when they have no balance. All active Telenor Prepaid subscribers with data capable phone can access Facebook Flex.
The service has been made available for all Talkshawk & djuice customers for an indefinite time period.
Telenor has shown commitments to contribute to the development of Internet and IT in Pakistan. Realizing Digital Pakistan was one such initiative which had goals in lining with “Pakistan 2025 – One Nation, One Vision.”
Increasing Digital Connectivity Indicator levels and the establishment of iHub incubation centers were some such goals.
In the past, Telenor also collaborated with Facebook to provide internet.org services to Pakistani customers. Pakistan was the 7th country of the world to get internet.org services. The service provided free access to about 20 websites.
