Tech-based school projects to be introduced for education development, Minister

Lately, the Pakistani government has been introducing new means to digitalize the country. Previously, it planned to provide the technology to the local artisans. Minister Rana Tanveer also suggested appointing engineers as secretaries of technical institutes. Now, another government official Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary who is the Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD), has emphasized on introducing new technology-based projects in the schools so that the students learn modern techniques and the education level gets developed.

While addressing a ceremony on Monday at Islamabad, the minister said, “The government understands the challenges we face while trying to achieve this goal. However, an increasing emphasis on public-private partnership will surely propel us toward a brighter future for Pakistan”.

He added that the government is dedicated to bringing reforms to the country’s educational institutes under the Prime Minister Education Reform Programme. For that, it is providing modern facilities like computers and labs to the institutions. The minister said that a special computer lab project was assigned to the students to enlighten them with modern technology and digital learning.

Furthermore, he stressed on the teachers as well to use the advanced technology in their teaching practices to improve the education system and to achieve Vision 2025.

Hasnat Qureshi, Director General of FDE said that the FDE (Federal Directorate of Education) is determined to introduce innovative learning methods in the public schools to make sure that the country’s youth – especially young women, become competent enough to compete with the students on the global level.

All in all, it is admirable of the Minister to stress upon the country’s educational reforms. With these tech-oriented projects in schools, the students can learn a lot about the modern technology in their early stage of learning.
