Taxi-hailing service Careem, stepped into Pakistan last year in May. After successful operations in Lahore, and Karachi. The service is launching in Islamabad.
Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan, has a population of almost 2 million. Careem is hoping to reach out to general public and get attention of international residents in the capital city, as well.
Currently Islamabad has local transportation but, unfortunately, these vehicles and the experience is not great. The poor conditions of vehicles either lead to environmental pollution or inconvenience for the passengers and people on road.
Careem is hoping to change that with its service launch.
For the uninitiated, Careem is a car booking service that lets you order a ride of your choice with just a few clicks on your smartphone (available for iOS and Android). The service is also available for large corporations and multinationals.
