Taking a fair advantage of the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, HP has unveiled three top of the line creativity-focused laptops especially crafted for the artists.
Of the total three devices released, HP Spectre x2 is a two-in-one like device that comes with a detachable keyboard. The device can be a potential competitor to the Microsoft Surface Pro devices especially the Surface Pro 4 as it comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen that can be used with a pressure sensitive stylus pen.
Apart from the extravagant outside, the laptop also has pretty impressive specifications under the bonnet. The device comes with significant upgrades over its predecessor and packs 7th Generation Kaby Lake Core i7 Processor, a 360 GB SSD, and upto 8 GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The IPS display boasts the same aspect size as that of Surface Pro 4. HP has also shifted from Wacom-based technology to the Surface’s N-trig which keeps the screen thinner unlike the Wacom-based technolgy which added a specific bulk to the screen.

HP Envy 17, on the other hand, comes with a better 7th Generation Kaby Lake Core i7 Processor, 1TB of Hard Disk, and upto 8 GB of LPDDR3 RAM. Both the devices have a full HD display while HP Envy 17 will also come with an option of 4K.
