With Microsoft moving towards the next generation of Windows, the company will end support for the ever-popular Windows 10 on October 14th, 2025. The company revealed the retirement date for Windows 10 on their support page which you can find by clicking here.
According to Thurrot, it is not clear if the company means to completely abandon the OS. However, it is quite clear that there will be limited support for Windows 10 now. Moreover, it seems that Microsoft is ready to launch Windows 11 which will be revealed at a special event. The tech giant will be sending invites globally for this special event on June 24th which take place at 8:00 PM (Pakistan Standard Time). This event will include keynotes and presentations from Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella as well as Chief Product Officer Panos Panay.

The next-gen of Windows was initially teased by the company’s CEO at the ever-popular Microsoft Build event where Satya mentioned key changes in terms of user interface which was under a codename called ‘Sun Valley’. Moreover, it seems that Microsoft has even teased a new Windows logo.
So far in regards to the next-gen of Windows, it has been leaked that the user interface of the new OS will be completely redesigned and there will be significant changes in the Microsoft Store. All of this and more will be unveiled at the upcoming event.
