Strong Cyber Security Inevitable Amidst Changing Security, Says President Arif Alvi

During a briefing at University Islamabad, President Dr. Arif Alvi emphasised on strengthening the cyber security of the country due to the world progressing very swiftly in technology.

Moreover, the President stated that universities need to focus on emerging technologies such as Information and Communication technology and Artificial Intelligence so that the country could meet the future security challenges.

In addition, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Air Marshal (R) Javaid Ahmed briefed about the performance and the achievements of the university which made astounding progress in terms of providing quality education in different disciplines.

The chancellor further mentioned that universities need to create more opportunities in such as information technology, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and block chain technology where Could Computing could enormously contribute to the economic development of the country.

Upon hearing this, President Alvi stated that good collaborations with international universities of good repute are needed so the Pakistan education sector could further enhance their own experiences.
