STARZ PLAY by Cinepax is organizing a short film competition for videographers, here’s how you can participate

Pakistan’s leading entertainment company, Cinepax is organizing a STARZ PLAY Short Film Competition (SSFC) for emerging and young filmmakers across Pakistan. STARZ PLAY by Cinepax, is a web-based Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD) service, just like Netflix, that offers an impressive library of blockbuster Hollywood movies, award-winning box sets, documentaries, kids’ entertainment and Pakistani content.

After the successful launch of STARZ PLAY by Cinepax, the company is offering an opportunity for aspiring filmmakers to step into the world of art and film making.

How to Register

This short film competition aims to provide a platform for emerging filmmakers to showcase their talent and share their work with an audience eager to see good content. The aspiring film-makers and videographers, interested to participate in the competition can submit their entries here. All entries will be judged by a panel of film and media experts and will then be uploaded on the STARZ PLAY website and app on Android and iOS.

This platform offers all contestants the chance to promote their films on a globally recognized streaming service.

Shortlisted films will then be screened at the final event on the big screen, and the winner will be decided by a jury of judges from the entertainment and film industry. The winner will get an exclusive contract to produce a STARZ PLAY by Cinepax original web series.
