StartupBlink features a world map of startups, accelerator programs, co-working spaces, freelancers and much more as colorful numbered dots in each country. The site also maps startup ecosystem influencers, freelancers of various disciplines and job openings at different startups.
So far, the site has estimated over 67,000 startups from around the world with nearly 100 accelerators and 200 co-working spaces. The map of Pakistan had more than 100 startups and accelerators from Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and other cities.
You can filter the map at the website by industry and location or for freelancers by discipline, special skill set and hourly rate. Any part of the world can be zoomed in to get more information about startups of that area. A side panel will list the startups of the area along with short description which can be claimed and updated or shared on social media. Moreover, you can add your startup to the site in case they missed it.
Startups can create Blinks to broadcast news, events, and promotions or even post questions for community answers. The site users can comment and share Blinks via Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
StartupBlink’s success greatly depends on the comprehensive database for startups and accelerators from around the world. However, the site features give it a promising prospect for the future.
