Startup Weekend Peshawar is changing the way people think about the city. They aim to bring the immense talent in the city of Peshawar to light. The 54 hour event is designed to shape ideas, bring forth business plans and finally give the startups a chance to pitch their ideas in front of potential investors. Big names in the Pakistani IT industry are a part of the event and we are looking forward to some amazing startup ideas.

The event has already created the right kind of stirs. It was the most talked about event today and trended for almost 10 hours on Twiiter. You can follow the official Twitter hashtag for the event (#PeshawarSW) to find out more minute by minute updates.

Right now the air is filled with excitement as the top 10 teams have been selected after a whole evening’s work.  These teams will now go on to compete heads on with each other and exhibit creativity, innovation and commitment. As the teams get ready to call it night, we can vouch that tomorrow is going to be a big day for all of them.
