Startup Weekend Lahore is all set to return to the spotlight on 8th March. Held twice in a year, this will be the first edition of the widely-acclaimed event in 2019. Touching the history of the event very briefly, Startup Weekend is a series of events that aims to nurture startups and entrepreneurs. Started back in 2012, Startup Weekend has matured into a full-fledged credible platform for startups.
This year’s Startup Weekend is due to be held between 8th-10th March 2019. Startup Weekend Lahore is a 54-hour event that gives an opportunity to entrepreneurs to pitch their startup ideas in front of a panel of judges comprising of industry veterans and professionals from across the professional landscape of Pakistan.
Participants will have to find the right kind of people to team up with to complement each other’s skills in order to turn their ideas into tangibly observable action. The teams then go through a process of model creation, coding, designing and market validation in the next three days.
Startup Weekend will give entrepreneurs an opportunity to materialize their ideas into concrete products. With help from the panel of experts available on ground, teams would get assistance on how to transform their ideas into actual products.

Limited seats are available for this year’s Startup Weekend. The registration fee per candidate is PKR 1500 and the last day to register is 5th March 2019. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted with details on how to submit their payment and thereafter unique IDs will be assigned to them.
