Startup Weekend is coming to Karachi

Startup Weekend, one of the largest entrepreneurial events held throughout the world, is coming to Karachi from 25th to 27th of November. The event is being hosted by Aplos Innovations in collaboration with SEED Ventures.

Startup Weekend is a 54 hour long event that is held over the course of three days at the end of the week. It provides budding entrepreneurs with a platform to develop their ideas into a viable business plan in merely three days. It also helps them market and sell their product at a global level.

Although the event is aimed at expanding and realizing the ideas of aspiring entrepreneurs, even if your don’t have any big idea, you can come and show your skills and join another team to work on their idea to change the world.

Who can join this event?

Anyone can join this event by registering and paying a small fee. Once you have become a participant, you can come to this event, pitch your idea, receive feedback and support from speakers, mentors and judges present at the Weekend.

This event is a part of the Global Startup Battle so the winning team will also qualify to present their idea in the finale of the Global event.

Startup Weekend will consist of following distinct events:

  • Opening night followed by a Theme Dinner
  • The working and mentoring sessions followed by Social Night
  • The closing ceremony followed by another Theme Dinner
